What HomeHQ is
HomeHQ is a home-records app: a private place for your household to keep equipment details, documents, maintenance schedules, expenses, and trusted service providers.
Your content
Your household records belong to you. You are responsible for what you upload and for inviting only people you trust; everyone in a household can see its records, and members can add or edit them.
Not professional advice
Maintenance suggestions, and renewal dates HomeHQ works out from dates you enter, are general information — not professional, safety, or legal advice. Floor plans, measurements, and pin positions you draw, trace, or scan are approximate. Confirm them on site before you dig, drill, or shut off a utility. For gas, electrical, structural, or other hazardous work, use a qualified professional. HomeHQ does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any provider found through local search — evaluate and hire at your own judgment.
Automatic document details
Document organizing can misread or omit information. Proposed model numbers, serial numbers, dates, prices, warranties, and work history are not authoritative until you compare them with the source and choose to add them. You are responsible for reviewing each proposal.
Subscriptions
Your home record is free, with no time limit. Without HomeHQ Pro, a home keeps up to 15 tasks on its list at a time, 15 items and 20 documents as photos; it is for you and one other person, each of you can keep 3 lists just for yourself, and each person can own one home. Adding a pet or a vehicle needs HomeHQ Pro. Service providers, areas, work done, costs, renewals, essentials, search and export have no limit; the house map in 2D and the watch on equipment nearing the age it is usually replaced are free; and joining a home you’re invited to is always free. HomeHQ Pro removes those limits and adds pets and vehicles, PDFs, sharing lists with your household and saving lists to reuse, more homes of your own, the house map’s 3D view, and finding home details in your documents with AI. One subscription covers everyone in a home while the subscriber is its owner or an admin; it doesn’t cover homes where the subscriber is a member or a viewer. Pro is billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, through the App Store or Google Play at the price shown before you confirm. You must be 18, or have a parent’s permission, to subscribe. New subscribers may get the first month free when the store offers it: when the free month ends, the plan you chose starts and is charged automatically unless you cancel before the free month ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before). The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the current period ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before), in your Apple ID settings or under Subscriptions in Google Play; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You can switch between monthly and yearly: on the App Store in your Apple ID settings, and on Google Play in HomeHQ, where nothing is charged when you switch and the new plan’s price applies from your next billing date. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. If we change the price, the store tells you before it applies to you. If Pro ends, the home goes back to the free plan and keeps everything in it: nothing is hidden, locked or deleted, and only adding more than the free plan allows stops. Pets and vehicles stay with their dates and records, PDFs stay openable and shareable, a home you added stays yours, lists shared with your household stay readable, your map stays yours to change, and records added from your documents stay yours, but the 3D view and reading new documents with AI need Pro. Whether or not you subscribe, your records stay readable, and the home summary stays exportable.
Acceptable use
Do not use HomeHQ to store unlawful content or to attempt access to other households’ data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Availability
HomeHQ is provided as-is. We work to keep your records safe and available, but features may change over time, and we will describe material changes in these terms.
